1 large Beet
1/2 pound Herring filets (preserved)
1/2 cup To 1 cup cream (used as need)
Salt and pepper
Bread in slices for to make sandwiches

Cook the beet and when is soft cut in thin cubes, also cut the herring filets in little pieces, mix with cream as needed and add salt and pepper. Fill the bread, add more cream if the bread is dry.
